PROJECT SCOPING
Our consultants will provide a no-obligation call to discuss your WMS project, which will typically start with a phone conversation to assess whether Dexterity WMS is a suitable solution for your business and the integration points your business requires. If Dexterity WMS is a good fit, this is normally followed by a site visit to assess the warehouse environment and the challenges you face as a business. We'll then offer our expert opinion on how operational processes can be improved within your business using Dexterity WMS and industry best practise during a Discovery Workshop.
The outcome of this is a project scope, detailing objectives and providing an initial project costing and implementation schedule based on the information given. If you decide to move forward, our professional project management team will work with you to make sure the project is delivered within the agreed time frame and budget.
TRAINING & IMPLEMENTATION
On placing an order for Dexterity WMS, you will be appointed a dedicated project manager to oversee the implementation of the project and to act as your main point of contact. The project manager will be responsible for the successful implementation of the entire project, including all elements of the system, i.e. hardware, software and user training.
To ensure the proper use and maintenance of the system, Barcode-IT will provide a comprehensive training programme for your staff. The implementation and training programme will be designed specifically for you to suit your company's individual requirements and will cover the following areas:

Customisation of Dexterity WMS processes to suite your business needs

Development of Carrier Integration modules and liaising with your chosen carriers, if required.

Barcode labelling configuration and document design

Full testing of software and remote installation onto a customer provided designated Dexterity Server

SUPPORT
Following Dexterity WMS going live, a Support Contract will be put in place to give you full access to our UK based support team Monday-Friday between 9am and 5pm, who aim to give a swift and comprehensive response time to any request or issue you may encounter, especially in those first few months when everyone is getting used to the system and user error issues are more likely to occur. We can support your entire solution, offering maintenance options on data capture hardware, printers and wireless networks, as well as benefitting from our knowledge and expertise gained over the last 25 years working with some of the UKs top manufacturing and distribution businesses.
